Import value in Ho Chi Minh by type of ownership (May, 2014)

04-07-2014 In May 2014, Ho Chi Minh City inported a value of USD 2,200.4 million. Among that, non-state business imported USD 1,243.9 million, accounting for 57% of the city’s import value. In comparison with April, the city’s import value showed a little change. Similarly, in the first 5 months of 2014, the import value nearly unchanged in comparison with the same period last year. While non-state companies’ import value decreased by 8.2%, state-owned companies’ import value increased considerably by 26.6%. This change, however, did not create much effect on the city’s import value because this value just account for 9% the total.
