Why launch an Air Quality Tool for Vietnam?

Air pollution has become a pressing issue in Vietnam’s cities. The country was recently named the second most polluted in Southeast Asia and 22nd worldwide in 2023. Hanoi, in particular, ranked among the world’s top 10 most polluted capital cities[1]. According to B&Company’s analysis of national air monitoring data, Hanoi experienced “good” air quality on only about one-third of days in the first half of 2025[2]. This stark situation underscores the need for a dedicated platform to monitor air quality.
