06-06-2014 In 2013, the export value of Vietnam reached 132,175 million USD, increasing by 15% in comparision with 2012. Two products exported most in 2013 with 16% and 14%, respectively, of total value were Mobile phones and accessories and Textile and garments. 31-10-2014 The index of industrial production in June was 99.5%, decreased slightly compared to May’14. The industries that had the highest growth rate were tabacco (+18.6%), and mining (+14.0%).Some industries’ growth rates declined compared to last month, in which the most decreases came from other transportation means (-22.0%), and metal industry (-19.5%). Import value in Ho Chi Minh by type of ownership (May, 2014)
04-07-2014 In May 2014, Ho Chi Minh City inported a value of USD 2,200.4 million. Among that, non-state business imported USD 1,243.9 million, accounting for 57% of the city’s import value. In comparison with April, the city’s import value showed a little change. Similarly, in the first 5 months of 2014, the import value nearly unchanged in comparison with the same period last year. 20-06-2014 In 2013, the quantity if foreigners’ visits reached 7.5 millions. Among those, 61.3%  came on the purpose of tourism. In the first 5 months of 2014, the visit number was over 3.7 millions, increasing by 26.1% in comparision with the same period last year.  In terms of origin, three countries paid the most number of visits in Vietnam were from Asia. Export value in Ho Chi Minh by type of ownership (May, 2014)
09-07-2014 In May 2014, Ho Chi Minh City exported a value of USD 1,835.5 million, divided equally into foreign investment sector and domestic sector. In the latter sector, non-state business exported USD 746.7 million, accounting for 41% of the city’s export value. Despite the limited share of only 10%, state sector’s export value grew by 70% in one month.
