At the “Japanese Food Global Gateway 2025” event, held on 25 September 2025 at Melia Hanoi, B&Company, as the appointed Coordinating unit, provided dedicated business matching support for Day 1’s Beverage session, connecting Japanese suppliers with Vietnamese buyers and distributors seeking high-quality Japanese beverages.
Event overview
“Japanese Food Global Gateway 2025” is organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), designed to strengthen trade between Japan and Vietnam through a series of themed sessions, with Day 1 focusing exclusively on beverages. Participating Japanese companies introduced a wide range of products such as tea – matcha products, and alcoholic beverages, while Vietnamese buyers from retail chains, distributors, importers, and hospitality businesses sought new opportunities to diversify their portfolios.

B&Company’s role in Business matching
B&Company supported the session by ensuring smooth buyer–supplier engagement through:
Pre-event preparation: identifying and aligning suitable Vietnamese buyers with participating Japanese beverage companies.
On-site facilitation: managing the scheduling and flow of one-on-one meetings, enabling buyers to learn directly about product offerings, certifications, and export readiness.
Market insights: advising exporter side, through a pre-event seminar, on consumer trends in Vietnam’s fast-growing beverage market, such as rising demand for organic and premium drinks, as well as premium positioning opportunities.
Highlights from Day 1
– Strong interest in functional beverages: Vietnamese buyers were particularly drawn to Japan’s innovations in high-quality drinks, reflecting growing local demand for products that support healthier lifestyles.
– Opportunities in premium teas and alcoholic beverages: Products emphasizing authenticity, natural ingredients, and unique Japanese origin stories resonated with potential importers and distributors.
