On June 20, 2025, AGS Consulting and B&Company successfully co-hosted a seminar titled “Latest Trends in the Vietnam Market – Insights and Strategies for Japanese Businesses”. The event attracted strong interest from the business community, drawing over 60 participants, including representatives from companies and organizations across various industries.

As Vietnam continues to present diverse business and investment opportunities, its relative importance as an investment destination for Japanese companies has faced new challenges. In response, this seminar served as a timely platform to reassess Vietnam’s potential and explore strategic approaches for successful market entry and expansion.

The seminar was structured into two key sessions:

– Part 1 (14:00 – 15:20):
Delivered by Mr. Shigemasa Ohta, CEO of B&Company, this session provided in-depth analysis of recent social and business transformations in Vietnam, along with an overview of current trends surrounding Japanese companies entering the Vietnamese market.

– Part 2 (15:20 – 16:00):
Delivered by Mr. Masami Matsui, CPA and Division Head at AGS Consulting’s Financial Advisory Department, this session focused on the latest developments in Vietnam’s M&A landscape, as well as practical considerations and strategic measures for companies evaluating M&A as a market entry or growth strategy.
