Vietnam currently has more than 5,000 semiconductor design engineers, concentrated largely in Ho Chi Minh City, where over 30 companies operate. The influx of global design firms into Vietnam is expected to further amplify the need for talent.

With the presence of many Japanese enterprises in Vietnam as well as its favorable business environment, Vietnam has emerged as a prominent destination for Japanese expatriates.
