Although the on-time performance rates of Vietnamese airlines reached high levels during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020\u20132021, they have been on a downward trend since 2022 due to congestion and reduced operational efficiency. In 2024, VietJet Air saw its rate drop to around 63%, while Vietnam Airlines (VNA) maintained relative stability at 83%.<\/p>\n

VNA hi\u1ec7n s\u1edf h\u1eefu \u0111\u1ed9i bay kho\u1ea3ng 180 m\u00e1y bay, nh\u01b0ng ch\u1ec9 kho\u1ea3ng 150 chi\u1ebfc \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c cho l\u00e0 \u0111ang ho\u1ea1t \u0111\u1ed9ng ph\u1ee5c v\u1ee5 h\u00e0nh kh\u00e1ch. Kho\u1ea3ng c\u00e1ch n\u00e0y ph\u1ea7n l\u1edbn l\u00e0 do vi\u1ec7c lo\u1ea1i bi\u00ean c\u00e1c m\u00e1y bay c\u0169, t\u00e1i c\u01a1 c\u1ea5u c\u00e1c th\u1ecfa thu\u1eadn thu\u00ea-b\u00e1n l\u1ea1i v\u00e0 ch\u1eadm tr\u1ec5 trong vi\u1ec7c b\u00e0n giao m\u00e1y bay m\u1edbi. \u0110\u1eb7c bi\u1ec7t, c\u00e1c v\u1ea5n \u0111\u1ec1 to\u00e0n c\u1ea7u li\u00ean quan \u0111\u1ebfn Boeing 737 MAX \u0111\u00e3 c\u00f3 t\u00e1c \u0111\u1ed9ng tr\u00ean di\u1ec7n r\u1ed9ng. The speed of recovery in the aviation market is also noteworthy. In 2023, the total number of air passengers\u2014domestic and international\u2014reached approximately 125 million, a 29% increase year-on-year and an all-time high. Vietnam Airlines (VNA) transported around 24 million passengers, securing a 21% share of the domestic market. Notably, domestic travel has already exceeded pre-COVID levels, indicating resilient demand. Although international travel remains at about 85% of 2019 levels, a full recovery is expected by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n
